Haidilao Hot Pot (Scarborough)
“Best overall spectacle: four broths at once, legendary service theatre, and a room that stays open when the rest of Toronto is asleep.”
— Very Toronto Editors
Haidilao’s Scarborough flagship at Woodside Square is the GTA’s full theatrical hot pot production: manicures and snacks in the wait lounge, robot plate runners, four-compartment soup pots so nobody compromises on broth, and the famous tableside dancing-noodle show if you ask. It is à la carte rather than all-you-can-eat, which keeps ingredient quality high and the bill closer to a special-occasion night than a student AYCE sprint. The room runs late—often into the early morning—so it doubles as a post-midnight destination when most of the city’s kitchens are dark. Reserve ahead on weekends; groups larger than four should call. Sauce-bar charges and lunch specials can shift, so confirm on the booking page before you go.
