The Finch East Liuyishou near the North York–Scarborough border is the chain’s à-la-carte sibling to Spadina’s AYCE room—often cited for the most authentic Chongqing royal spicy soup in the GTA. Imported peppercorns and dried chilies deliver real má là; order a tomato base beside it if anyone at the table needs an exit ramp. Plaza parking is simpler than downtown Spadina, which makes this the better drive-to for large east-end groups.
