Get ready for pierogi, polka, and a whole lot of community spirit as the Roncesvalles Polish Festival marks its landmark 20th anniversary. Spanning multiple blocks along Roncesvalles Avenue, this beloved Toronto tradition brings old-world charm together with the vibrant, creative energy of one of the city's coolest west-end neighbourhoods.
What to Expect
For two action-packed days, the street transforms into a pedestrian paradise filled with open-air stages, bustling beer gardens, artisan vendor markets, and endless food stalls serving up authentic Polish treats alongside diverse local bites. Whether you're catching live polka performances, discovering indie musicians on neighbourhood stages, or bringing the kids out for family-friendly activities, there is plenty to explore.
Getting There & Tips
Located in the heart of Roncesvalles Village, the festival is easily accessible via the 504 King or 506 Carlton streetcars. Cycling down the West Toronto Railpath is also a great option. Because this is one of Toronto's most popular street festivals drawing massive crowds, walking, transit, or biking is strongly encouraged over driving.
