The Original Santa Claus Parade 2026
Sunday, November 22, 2026
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Downtown Toronto parade route
The Original Santa Claus Parade marks its 122nd edition on Sunday, November 22, 2026. It is free to watch from the route.
Route and timing
Organizers typically confirm the exact map closer to parade day. Recent years have started around 12:30 pm at Christie Pits (Bloor and Christie), then run east on Bloor, past Queen's Park, south on University, and east to a Front and Jarvis finish by St. Lawrence Market. Santa usually reaches the end around mid-afternoon.
How to watch
Pick a spot early along Bloor, University, or Front. Bring warm layers, water, and a compact stool if you are staying put. TTC is the only sane way downtown that morning. Expect long street closures and packed sidewalks near the finish.
Broadcast
Recent editions have aired on Citytv and Citytv+. Confirm 2026 broadcast details on thesantaclausparade.com as November approaches. Donations through CanadaHelps help keep the volunteer-driven parade running.
