Art Toronto 2026

Art Toronto is back for its 27th edition — still the city’s clearest annual snapshot of what’s happening in Canadian and international contemporary art. From October 29 to November 1, 2026, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre fills with 105 galleries, organizations, and cultural institutions from Canada, the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

What’s on the floor

Expect thousands of works across painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, installation, and new media. Arte Sur returns with 11 galleries from Mexico, Central America, and South America. Solo booths spotlight individual artists, and nearly one-third of participating galleries will present work by Indigenous artists — one of the fair’s strongest editorial through-lines in recent years.

Beyond shopping

If you’re not buying (most visitors aren’t), the programming is the point: curator-led tours, Platform Talks, and educational sessions aimed at emerging collectors who want to learn without the intimidation tax. Friday’s Emerging Collectors Evening is built for exactly that crowd.

• Public days: Friday Oct 30 (12–9 PM), Saturday Oct 31 (12–7 PM), Sunday Nov 1 (12–6 PM)

Adult tickets start around $35; premium fair passes from $55; Opening Night packages are much higher. Prices rise October 1, so buy early at arttoronto.com. The MTCC is at 255 Front Street West — Union Station is a short walk.
