Legends of Horror at Casa Loma

Casa Loma turns into Toronto's biggest Halloween night out again this October. Legends of Horror is back for its 10th anniversary, and the castle's lower gardens, underground tunnels, and haunted Stables become a two-kilometre walkthrough of interactive horror sets.

What to expect

Expect classic horror characters, dramatic lighting, 3D projections, animatronics, and jump scares staggered through the route. It's theatrical more than extreme gore — still plenty spooky for adults, with family hours earlier in the evening for younger visitors on select nights. After the walkthrough, Halloween-inspired cocktails, live DJs, and projections keep the castle glowing after dark.

Practical details

The attraction runs from October 3 through November 1, 2026 at Casa Loma (1 Austin Terrace). Tickets and nightly hours are at Legendsofhorror.ca — popular weekend slots sell out, so book ahead. Dress for outdoor corridors between sets; the tunnels get cold even when the city is mild. Transit: Dupont Station plus a short uphill walk, or the 127 Davenport bus.

Why it matters

Few Toronto Halloween events combine a landmark venue with this scale of production. If you want one proper scare-night outing this fall — or you're hosting out-of-town guests — this is the city's flagship haunted experience.
