TONO is W Toronto’s current ninth-floor rooftop restaurant, replacing the former Skylight concept with a Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei menu led by chef Akira Back. The indoor-outdoor setting keeps the hotel’s garden-like rooftop character while sharpening the food around raw preparations, bold sauces and polished cocktails. It is a strong Yorkville choice when dinner matters as much as the setting. Smart-casual dress is requested, and the restaurant stays open an hour later on Friday and Saturday.
