Maria’s Sports Bar on College Street is a revived neighbourhood fixture led by industry veterans Adrian Montesdeoca, Mikey Kim, and chef Graham Pratt alongside chef de cuisine Mikel Neidra. After running the space for 32 years, original owner Maria Leandro handed the reins over to the team, who chose to preserve the room's scrappy, unpretentious spirit while giving the kitchen and concept an upgrade. Inside Brockton Village, the space seats around 100 people and retains its lived-in layout featuring TVs, a pool table, and a spacious patio, complemented by minor updates like neon lighting and preserved memorabilia.

First-time visitors can expect a straightforward menu focused on beer-friendly comfort food, anchored by a wood-fired oven producing thin-crust pizzas like the K-Town with Spam and kimchi alongside traditional pepperoni pies. The beverage program features affordable beers and classic cocktails served in party-sized pitchers, supported by a weekday happy hour running Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons looking for an easygoing local hangout will find an unpretentious atmosphere that balances dive-bar nostalgia with elevated casual fare.
