Grab your blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite movie snacks because the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show (TOPS) is back with a rescheduled screening of *Wildhood* at Corktown Common. Originally rained out earlier in July, this beloved outdoor cinema series returns to the east end on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
What to Expect
Nestled between the historic Distillery District and the Don River, Corktown Common offers one of the city's most picturesque natural amphitheaters with a sweeping view of the downtown Toronto skyline. As part of TOPS' 2026 journey-themed programming titled *Going Places*, the evening kicks off with short films *Anyway, I Piss Sitting Down* and *6 minutes per kilometer*, leading into the feature presentation of *Wildhood* at sundown (around 8:45 PM).
Food, Drinks, and Practical Details
Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase at the TOPS tent starting at 7:00 PM. Admission is entirely free (Pay-What-You-Can with donations encouraged), and open captioning is provided for all screenings. The hill fills up fast, so make sure to arrive early to stake out your spot on the grass.
