The Disability Arts Festival returns for a powerful weekend celebrating the richness of disabled art, culture, and community across Toronto. Spanning two days and distinct venues, the festival kicks off on Saturday at the Tarragon Theatre with compelling film screenings from Voices with Impact followed by the fan-favourite, boundary-defying disabled drag and burlesque celebration, CRIPtonite.

On Sunday, the action shifts over to Wychwood Barns for a buzzing indoor-outdoor community market. From 11 AM to 5 PM, visitors get free access to over 40 disabled artisan vendors, live performances, games, crafts, and food trucks.

Accessibility and Inclusion First The festival goes above and beyond to ensure a relaxed, welcoming environment. Measures include open captions, live audio descriptions, ASL interpretation across all events, a dedicated sensory-friendly hour on Sunday morning featuring therapy dogs, a quiet low-stimulation space, and personal care attendants on-site via Whimble. It is an essential, joyful community celebration you won't want to miss.
