Money Fish: Balls, Balls, Balls (+ free circus workshops)

Flagstaff Park in Etobicoke is getting a dose of high-flying silliness and physical comedy as part of the Arts in the Parks 2026 lineup, featuring the unique production *Money Fish: Balls, Balls, Balls*.

Co-created and performed by Kirsten Edwards, Emily Hughes, and Natalie Parkinson Dupley, this 30-minute non-verbal show blends circus arts, contemporary dance, and traditional clowning. The performance follows three eccentric characters navigating obstacles—and each other—set to an ironic soundtrack of recognizable classical music that playfully parodies ballet, opera, and acrobatics.

The fun begins early each evening at 5:30 p.m. with free drop-in social circus workshops hosted by SoCirC. Community members of all ages can try their hand at juggling, balancing, and object manipulation, with brave participants even getting the chance to perform alongside professional aerialists during the evening show. On the final weekend, the event expands to include a community talent show where locals can showcase their own singing, dancing, or performance skills.

Completely free and open to all, this multi-day residency is an imaginative, highly entertaining summer highlight for West Toronto families.
