Dancing on the Square

Whether you've got two left feet or you're a seasoned dancer looking to polish your spins, Harbourfront Centre is the place to be on Wednesday nights for *Dancing on the Square*.

Running weekly through the summer, this free outdoor series invites the city to step out, learn new steps, and soak in live music right by Lake Ontario. Each week features a different style and live band, ranging from energetic Line Dancing with Shania Twink and Spurs to infectious Forró beats with Maria and the Band in partnership with Uma Nota.

The Experience All skill levels are warmly welcomed. You can come with a partner or find one in the crowd—the atmosphere is entirely friendly, inclusive, and community-driven. While the dancing is free, be sure to grab a digital ticket in advance to secure your spot in the instructional portion of the evening.

Getting There & Around Head down to 235 Queens Quay W, easily accessible via the Harbourfront streetcar right from Union Station. Make an evening of it by grabbing a bite at the nearby Amsterdam BrewHouse or taking a post-dance stroll along the boardwalk before the sun sets over the lake.
