Cowboys and Wallflowers Exhibition

Thursday, October 8, 2026 – Saturday, November 7, 2026
10:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Assembly Hall Gallery
Assembly Hall Gallery in Etobicoke is showing Cowboys and Wallflowers from October 8 to November 7, 2026. Admission is free.
The work
Toronto artist Danielle Cole builds collages from vintage graphics dating from the 1800s through the 1970s. The pieces blend iconic imagery and wit to push on gender norms, household roles, and consumerism. Her work has been featured in CBC Arts, Kolaj Magazine, and Toronto Life, and shown internationally.
Where and when
The gallery is inside Assembly Hall at 1 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive, on the lakefront in south Etobicoke. It is an easy trip if you are already near the Humber Bay parks, and quieter than a downtown opening crawl. Confirm gallery hours before you go, especially on weekdays.
Why it is worth the trip west
Free, specific, and handmade. If collage and material culture are your thing, this is a cleaner afternoon than another generic group show downtown.
