Spend Your Thanksgiving Long Weekend at Arcadia Earth! 🍂🌎

Friday, October 9, 2026 – Monday, October 12, 2026
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
486 Front Street West
Arcadia Earth (486 Front St. W.) is open all four days of the Thanksgiving long weekend, Friday, October 9, through Monday, October 12, 2026, and brings back its Harvest Café for the occasion.
Hours are Friday 1 to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Monday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Harvest Café runs from noon to 5 p.m. each day in the venue's Marketplace, which is transformed into a cozy fall lounge.
The best part is the price. Entry to the Harvest Café is free with a non-perishable food item or a monetary donation, and everything collected goes to Second Harvest, Canada's largest food rescue charity. Inside you will find coffee and warm apple cider, mini pumpkin painting with all supplies provided, and live music. On Sunday and Monday only, café guests can also take home a free custom mini portrait, a nice keepsake if you are out with family.
If you want to make a day of it, you can pair the café with a visit to Arcadia Earth's immersive exhibits, which use art, projection and installations to explore environmental themes. Regular admission is about $27.25. It is a good rainy-day option for families with kids, and a low-key way to fill an afternoon before or after Thanksgiving dinner.
Practical notes: Arcadia Earth is on Front Street West near Spadina, close to the 504 King and 510 Spadina streetcars. Bring a can or two for the donation bin. Holiday weekend afternoons can get busy, so the earlier time slots are usually calmer.
