Thomson Memorial Park in Scarborough transforms into a lively cultural hub for the 14th annual Afro-Carib Fest. This free, award-winning weekend celebration brings together the rich traditions, music, and flavors of the African and Caribbean diaspora for an unforgettable community gathering.

Visitors can look forward to high-energy performances from over 120 local and international artists, an electrifying DJ sound clash, and a vibrant cultural parade where attendees are encouraged to proudly fly their cultural flags. Foodies will love the dedicated Food Zone—featuring everything from traditional delicacies to the exciting new Taste of Afro-Carib Fest food competition—while shoppers can explore a bustling vendor marketplace packed with unique arts, crafts, and gifts from local businesses.

Family Fun and Community

Beyond the music and food, the festival offers interactive drum and dance workshops, lively dance competitions with cash prizes, and a dedicated Kids & Family Zone complete with face painting and bouncy castles.
