5th Annual HipHop Festival™️

Morningside Park transforms into an epic celebration of urban culture as the annual HipHop Festival returns to Scarborough for its 5th milestone edition.

Running from 12 PM to 6 PM at Picnic Areas 4 & 5 (390 Morningside Ave), this free, all-ages community event explores every pillar of hip-hop culture. The day is hosted by Ness, featuring live showcase performances from youth hip-hop artist Cairo Snow and renowned beatbox emcee RealIje. On the wheels of steel, catch an incredible lineup of Toronto's finest DJs, anchored by special guest DJ Mel Boogie alongside DJ Richlynx33, DJ Akiin, D_Yorkey, and Mobetta Music.

Beyond the music, the festival features a bustling vendor marketplace, an interactive Kid Zone with workshops designed to foster inclusivity and family fun, and immersive community partner booths ranging from local arts to literacy and wellness.

As part of the City of Toronto's Cultural Hotspot Spark Project for KGO, this event is entirely free to attend. Pack a blanket, bring the whole family, and enjoy a vibrant afternoon celebrating community, music, and local artistry in one of Scarborough's most picturesque park settings.
