Old Town Toronto BIA and Alumnae Theatre team up to present Unspoken Theatre’s *1920’s Walking Around In A Dream*, an inventive, hour-long family musical comedy playing in the heart of St. James Park. Directed by Declan Meagher and written by Natalie Kaye, the production takes inspiration from Shakespeare’s *A Midsummer Night’s Dream* and transplants it straight into the glittering, high-energy world of the Roaring Twenties.

Featuring fresh arrangements of jazz standards by legends like Cole Porter and Fats Waller, the show promises plenty of vaudeville charm, historical wit, and theatrical joy. Unspoken Theatre, celebrating its 15th anniversary as a celebrated female-run company, brings its signature comedic flair to the outdoor park setting.

What to Expect Performances run on select weekends in August (August 8–9 and August 15–16) with two showtimes daily at 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Admission is free (Pay-What-You-Can accepted on site), and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No advance tickets are required.

Getting There & Nearby St. James Park is located at 120 King Street East in Old Town Toronto, surrounded by historic architecture and towering trees. Grab an iced coffee nearby in the St. Lawrence neighbourhood and settle in on the grass for an afternoon of open-air theatre.
