Loop
Canada's only national urban park protects one of the largest remaining natural areas in the GTA, with the Vista Trail offering a spectacular viewing platform overlooking the Little Rouge River Valley. The broader park features over 12 kilometres of trails through Carolinian forest, wetlands, farmland, and Indigenous heritage sites.
Very Toronto Tips
This is a national park within city limits — let that sink in. The Vista Trail viewing platform is the payoff: a sweeping panorama of the Little Rouge Valley that looks like it belongs in Algonquin, not Scarborough. Come in October for the salmon run in the Rouge River, or late September for the best foliage.
