Check before you go

Important: sections of the Morningside Park and Highland Creek Trail system are closed for construction until July 2027. Follow posted closures and the City's current detours.

Surface

Type

Out & Back

A major Scarborough ravine corridor following Highland Creek through Morningside Park, with connections toward The Meadoway, Cedar Ridge, the University of Toronto Scarborough, and the waterfront trail. Current construction means this is best treated as a set of open sections, not one continuous route.

Very Toronto Tips

This will be one of the east end's great connected walks, but it needs an honest caveat right now: construction has broken the through-route. Use the open park sections and consult the City's detour information rather than improvising around fencing.
