The ravine shelters rare plants, migrating warblers, and a spring-fed creek, all tucked between quiet residential streets just steps from Queen Street East.

Transit

Take the 501 Queen streetcar to Beech Avenue, walk north two blocks to the ravine entrance at Ames Avenue.

Parking

Street parking on Ames Avenue and surrounding Beaches streets. No dedicated lot.

Seasonal Notes

Best: Spring

The boardwalk can be slippery when wet. Spring wildflowers (trilliums, bloodroot) bloom in April and May. Peak warbler migration in mid-May makes this one of the best urban birding spots in Toronto.
