Founded in 1972, The Country Day School is a co-educational independent school for JK through Grade 12, set on a 100-acre campus in King City. CDS is led by Head of School John Liggett and organised across three divisions: Junior School (JK–Grade 6), Middle School (Grades 7–8), and Senior School (Grades 9–12).
The school offers Advanced Placement courses, a High Performance Physical Education Program, competitive robotics and debating, Duke of Edinburgh, and outdoor education. Athletics and arts run across all divisions. CDS is a member of CAIS, NAIS, and CIS Ontario.
