The Power Plant is Harbourfront’s always-free contemporary gallery at 231 Queens Quay West: smokestack landmark, rotating exhibitions, and official copy that still reads “All Year, All Free.” Regular hours on thepowerplant.org are Wednesday–Sunday (closed Monday–Tuesday), with Friday evenings later. First-timers: one show loop is enough; no food or touch; streetcar 509/510 from Union. Paid parking is Harbourfront’s, not a gallery fee.
