The Biryani Walla

What is The Biryani Walla? Located along Yonge Street in Lawrence Park North, The Biryani Walla serves unapologetic Hyderabadi culinary classics to midtown Toronto. The dining room strikes an easygoing, comfortable balance with ample banquette and table seating, quick counter service, and a fully stocked on-site bar geared for both casual weekday lunches and sprawling group spreads.

The Biryani Walla Menu & What to Order Authentic dum cooking anchors the kitchen, led by the signature Real Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and the fall-apart tender Mutton Dum Biryani, each perfumed with saffron, caramelised onions, and toasted whole spices. Branch out into the decadent Ghee Roast Kaju Boneless Chicken Biryani or spicy Palnadu Chicken Biryani, kicking off the meal with the saucy, punchy Chicken 65 Wet alongside rich vegetarian staples like Malai Kofta.

Know Before You Go Reservations are available and wise for larger parties, though casual walk-ins are readily accommodated across the generous dining room. The kitchen is a rare North Toronto beacon for late-night dining, staying open until 5:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and sits an easy walk north from Lawrence subway station.
