What is Taudos? Taudo's is an authentic Jamaican seafood and soul-food restaurant located at 50A Rexdale Boulevard in North Etobicoke, near Martin Grove Road. Owned and operated by chef Al Gordon, who named the eatery after his childhood nickname from Rocky Point, Jamaica, it has earned a loyal citywide following (including local NBA star Dalano Banton) for its authentic coastal Jamaican recipes and seafood dinners.

Taudos Menu & What to Order Seafood is the hallmark of the kitchen, led by Jamaican Steamed Red Snapper cooked with sliced okra, scotch bonnet peppers, carrots, and traditional cassava bammy cakes. Meat lovers order the fall-off-the-bone Slow-Braised Oxtail in rich gelatinous gravy, fiery scotch-bonnet Curry Goat, and smoky Jerk Chicken served over kidney bean rice and peas with fried plantains. Other island specialties include weekend Conch Soup, Ackee and Saltfish, and rich creamy coconut shrimp pasta.

Know Before You Go Closed Sundays. Open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Friday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
