Sunnybrook Park Off-Leash Area

Sunnybrook is the north-central workhorse: a large, fully fenced off-leash park in the valley below Sunnybrook Hospital, with enough room for a real fetch and a separate small-dog enclosure (City rule of thumb: small-dog areas are for dogs 20 lbs or under and no more than 12 inches at the shoulder). GIS lists lighting here. The ground is relatively flat, with shade trees and seating, and it is one of the 2021 citywide OLA case-study sites. It gets muddy after rain — boots help in spring. Easy access from Leslie Street with parking in the park system. A reliable pick when you want fences, not ravine recall drills.
