What is Bomou? Perched along the Leaside stretch of Bayview Avenue, Bomou is a contemporary French bakery and atelier helmed by sisters Negar and Azar Sabzevari. After refining her craft at Toronto's George Brown College and the École Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie in France, pastry chef Negar built a sunlit, marble-accented counter operation dedicated to meticulous viennoiserie, naturally leavened sourdough, and handcrafted chocolates. While the narrow interior has limited seating for a quick espresso stop, the shop functions primarily as an essential grab-and-go neighborhood hub.
