Set inside an unassuming commercial strip at 2950 Kennedy Road in Agincourt, Shizuku is a focused, 10-seat sushi counter helmed by Chef Kodie Kazuki Wan, an alumnus of Markham's venerable Zen. The dining room leans into minimalist Japanese aesthetics with blonde wood, focused counter illumination, and zero distractions from the chef's knife craft. Without the flash or hype of downtown dining rooms, the space prioritizes precision and exceptional wild-caught seafood flown in directly from Japan.

Shizuku Menu & What to Order The kitchen operates exclusively on multi-course tasting menus, stepping through seasonal appetizers and pristine Edomae-style nigiri. Standouts include the decadent ankimo choux puff—a crisp pastry shell filled with rich monkfish liver—alongside melt-in-your-mouth otoro, steamed black abalone, and sweet Japanese sea urchin. Opt for the curated multi-bottle sake pairing, which matches regional junmai and daiginjo labels to the changing temperatures and fats of each fish. Due to the traditional Edomae format, the menu cannot accommodate vegan, vegetarian, or raw-fish dietary restrictions.

Know Before You Go Shizuku is strictly reservation-only via OpenTable or Instagram, backed by a per-person deposit, with zero walk-in availability. The counter hosts timed evening seatings running Thursday through Tuesday (closed Wednesdays and Sundays), with ample strip-mall parking available on site.
