What is Rainhard Brewing? Located at 100 Symes Road in The Stockyards industrial pocket of the Junction, Rainhard Brewing is a pioneer of West Toronto's craft brewing boom. Founded in 2015 by brewer Jordan Rainhard in a converted 1940s manufacturing plant, the taproom features sandblasted walls, lofty industrial ceilings, and communal picnic tables flanked by glistening fermentation tanks. Seating spills out onto a relaxed front patio where dog owners and local hop fiends gather over fresh drafts poured straight from the production floor.

Rainhard Brewing Menu & What to Order Rainhard operates on an unapologetic "drink fresh" philosophy with a heavy focus on hop-forward IPAs, clean lagers, and balanced sours. First-timers should start with their signature Armed 'N Citra dry-hopped pale ale, the assertive Kapow! West Coast IPA, or the crisp, traditional Classic Helles Lager. For fruitier profiles, the Rage & Love raspberry and lime sour brings sharp acidity, while dark beer fans can seek out Sweetback's Milk Stout when in rotation. While the brewery operates purely as a production taproom without a full kitchen, guests can scan table QR codes to order hot takeout directly to their seats from neighbouring partners like The Butchers BBQ.

Know Before You Go Rainhard is strictly walk-in friendly with plenty of communal indoor seating and dog-friendly outdoor patio space. Reaching Symes Road takes a bit of deliberate travel—hop on the 71 Runnymede or 168 Symington bus from the subway, or take advantage of on-site parking if driving. The brewery runs Sunday to Tuesday from noon to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday to Saturday from noon to 9:00 p.m., making it an ideal anchor for a craft beer crawl alongside nearby Junction Craft.
