Rainhard is the Symes Road IPA house that never actually closed: 100 Symes Road, Unit 108, official phone 416-763-BEER (2337), info@rainhardbrewery.com. Contact page posts indoor and outdoor dining, kids and dogs always welcome, Sunday–Tuesday noon–7 p.m., Wednesday–Saturday noon–9 p.m. The house line is “we brew the beer we want to drink,” which here means hoppy beer sold fresh. First-timers: whatever IPA or pale ale is newest — they are unusually insistent you drink it fresh rather than cellar it. Pair it with Junction Craft five minutes up Symes if you already made the bus trip (71 Runnymede or 168 Symington). Event space is a separate Sean inbox. This is a production-floor taproom, not a dinner brewpub.
