What is Panchos Bakery? Located on Dufferin Street just north of Bloor in Dovercourt Village, Pancho's Bakery is Toronto's pioneering Mexican bakery and churreria. Famed across the city for introducing authentic Mexican street-style churros and traditional pan dulce, the colorful bakery storefront features glass cases filled with sweet Mexican breads and a dedicated churro fryer where golden, fluted dough sticks are pressed and fried fresh to order.

Panchos Bakery Menu & What to Order The marquee attraction is their fresh-fried churros, rolled in cinnamon sugar and hollowed out to be filled with your choice of warm dulce de leche, condensed milk, chocolate, or strawberry jam. For decadent creations, try the Churro Cheesecake topped with caramel drizzle or a Soft Serve Churro Cone filled with vanilla ice cream. Traditional pan dulce lovers can select from pillowy Conchas topped with vanilla or chocolate sugar crusts, flaky empanadas stuffed with seasoned chicken or beef, and mugs of spiced Mexican Hot Chocolate (Chocolate Abuelita).

Know Before You Go Churros are fried continuously throughout the day so they arrive piping hot and crispy. The bakery remains open until 9:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8:00 p.m. on weekends, making it a popular evening dessert destination. Located two blocks north of Dufferin subway station and Dufferin Mall, the shop is easily reached via the 29 Dufferin bus, with street parking available along Dufferin Street.
