What is New Orleans Seafood & Steakhouse? Now established in its handsome dining room at 3003 Lake Shore Boulevard West in South Etobicoke, New Orleans Seafood & Steakhouse is Toronto's premier fine-dining temple to authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Drawing upon culinary traditions refined across decades, chef-owner partners cook every dish from scratch, infusing the room with the sultry, aromatic spices of the Louisiana bayou.
New Orleans Seafood & Steakhouse Menu & What to Order Begin dinner with a bowl of the dark, roux-thickened Traditional Seafood Gumbo loaded with shrimp, crab, and andouille sausage, or the flash-fried Cajun calamari dusted in seasoned cornmeal with remoulade sauce. The showstopper entrée is the Blackened Prime Ribeye, seared in a screaming-hot cast-iron skillet with house-blended Cajun blackening spices to achieve an intensely seasoned crust while keeping the interior juicy and tender. Seafood lovers should not miss the Creole Jambalaya, bursting with plump black tiger shrimp, mussels, and chicken simmered in rich spiced tomato rice.
Know Before You Go The restaurant is open for dinner service Wednesday through Sunday (closed Monday and Tuesday). Table reservations are strongly recommended by phone (416-414-1830), as the intimate dining room regularly fills to capacity on weekends. Street parking is accessible along Lake Shore Boulevard West.
