Restaurant
LHAO

LHAO takes over the former Ronin Izakaya space on Baldwin Street with a menu that's rare in Toronto — Thai-Chinese fusion built around the flavours of Bangkok's Chinatown, Yaowarat, rather than the more familiar Thai or Cantonese canons on their own.
The anchor dish is a family recipe for roasted duck from chefs Roj and Jojo, served alongside duck noodle soup, fish maw soup, and Cantonese-style barbecue pork — the kind of specific, well-executed regional cooking that Baldwin Village's small-restaurant-row is built for.
