Kortright is TRCA’s 325-hectare woodland in Vaughan, ten minutes north of the city line: marked hiking trails, a visitor centre, maple-syrup season, and the kind of washroom-and-map start that makes a first hike less feral than Crothers. 9550 Pine Valley Drive. A Conservation Parks membership covers Kortright and other TRCA sites; day admission is sold on site and online — check trca.ca/parks/kortright-centre for the current rate and seasonal hours before you go (the page is also the camp and Nature School hub). Not a cliff hike. Come for a contained woods loop, birds, and a place you can send relatives who do not want to get lost in a ravine.
