Kew Gardens is the Beaches off-leash: a City-designated OLA inside the 20-acre park that runs from Queen Street East down to Kew Beach. GIS lists it (unlit) in the park proper — not on the swimming beach. That distinction matters. Dogs are banned from swimming beaches except November 1 to March 31, so in summer keep the run inside the signed OLA and treat the sand as a leashed walk. Tennis courts, the Alex Christie bandstand, and the Beaches library sit at the Queen Street edge, so this is the rare dog stop that still feels like a neighbourhood park day. Official park page: toronto.ca facility listing id 107.
