Kew Gardens is the Beaches civic lawn at 2075 Queen Street East: the gazebo, playground, library, and the walk that spills onto Kew-Balmy Beach. City park hours 5:30 a.m. to midnight; picnic-site booking is listed on toronto.ca. Kew-Balmy Beach lifeguards in season run 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (City beaches page).
