What is Jane & Finch Boys & Girls Club? Situated on Grandravine Drive in the Glenfield-Jane Heights area, the BGC Jane and Finch Club operates as a vital non-profit, offering critical after-school and community-based programs for local children and youth. It's a sanctuary for growth, providing structured activities in arts, fitness, and life skills within a supportive environment, rather than a traditional dining establishment. The focus here is on community building and youth empowerment, not culinary ventures.
Jane & Finch Boys & Girls Club Menu & What to Order While not a restaurant, BGC Jane and Finch offers a 'menu' of enriching programs. Children in Grades 1-3 can participate in the early after-school sessions, while Grades 4-6 have dedicated time slots; older youth (14+) also have their own specialized programming. The 'Boys to Men Mentorship' offers invaluable guidance, and 'Sisters with Voices' provides a space for young women to connect and grow. For creative expression, 'Smart Art' is a standout, and 'Freestyle Fridays' bring a dynamic energy to the end of the week.
Know Before You Go Forget about walk-ins; all participation requires pre-registration, with strict capacity limits to ensure safety and quality. Programs adhere to specific schedules throughout the week, with after-school activities pausing on PA Days and school holidays. Conveniently located within the Glenfield-Jane Heights neighbourhood, attendees should be prepared for wellness checks and mask requirements.
