Edwards Gardens & Wilket Creek Trail

Edwards Gardens is the formal Civic Garden Centre at Lawrence and Leslie (755 Lawrence Avenue East); Wilket Creek is the ravine that drops south from it into the Don. Together they are the north-end hike that starts with washrooms and a greenhouse and ends in real woods. City park / garden hours for the formal grounds; the creek trail follows city ravine hours. Easy first kilometre, roots and boardwalk as you go. Connects toward Sunnybrook and the larger Don system if you want a longer day. Parking on site (paid when enforced). TTC: 51 / 54 / 56 buses along Lawrence, or a walk from Leslie subway if you like a warm-up.
