Denick's Roti Factory

What is Denick's Roti Factory? Operating out of an industrial plaza strip on Oakdale Road in Glenfield-Jane Heights, Denick's Roti Factory is a quintessential utilitarian Caribbean takeout counter. The interior is unapologetically rough around the edges and bare-bones, functioning almost exclusively as a high-volume staging ground for hefty to-go orders with little to no dine-in space.

Denick's Roti Factory Menu & What to Order The counter serves up deeply satisfying, budget-friendly Caribbean staples loaded into tender, blistered dhalpuri or paratha skins. The boneless chicken curry with soft, gravy-soaked potato is the essential order, carrying a fragrant, deeply spiced turmeric and cumin profile that soaks straight through the flatbread. In a welcome departure from standard roti shops, the kitchen also turns out surprisingly solid Hakka-style crossover plates like sweet-savoury orange chicken and fiery chilli chicken.

Know Before You Go This is strictly a walk-in and pickup scenario, so expect a rapid queue during the weekday noon rush driven by neighbourhood warehouse workers and drivers. Surface parking is readily available in the shared industrial lot. Denick's caters strictly to daytime crowds, closing down at 6:00 p.m. each weekday and staying completely closed on weekends.
