Body Blitz Spa

Body Blitz Spa

For two decades, the Adelaide Street West location was a cornerstone of the King West wellness scene, famously housed in a century-old building that once served as a stable for Fort York military horses. It built a loyal following as Toronto’s premier women-only destination for hydrotherapy, known for its rustic, industrial aesthetic and the communal, unpretentious atmosphere that encouraged women to truly unplug. While that specific chapter has closed, the spirit of the original spa lives on at their consolidated location on King Street East. The experience remains centered on their signature therapeutic waters circuit, which is the primary reason to visit. The circuit features a warm Dead Sea salt pool, a hot Epsom salt pool, a cold plunge pool, an infrared sauna, and a eucalyptus steam room, all designed to facilitate a cycle of heating, cooling, and resting.

If you are planning a visit to the current King East facility, the therapeutic waters circuit is walk-in only, meaning you do not need to book an appointment to soak. It is best to arrive during off-peak hours if you want a quieter experience, as it can get busy during weekends and holidays. You do not need to bring much; the spa provides robes, sandals, and towels, and the vanity area is stocked with high-quality toiletries. While swimsuit bottoms are required, tops are optional, contributing to the spa's relaxed, body-positive vibe. If you are looking to elevate your visit, book a body scrub or massage in advance, which grants you access to the water circuit beforehand. Keep in mind that they are closed on Mondays, so plan your self-care day accordingly.
