Blaze and Bourbon

What is Blaze and Bourbon? Tucked into a commercial plaza along Brimley Road in Scarborough's Bendale South, Blaze and Bourbon—frequently operating alongside the moniker Spice Bar—is an unassuming, no-frills stop dedicated to vibrant Indian street fare. The interior keeps things strictly utilitarian, prioritizing fast service and casual dining over polished decor. Seating is simple and functional, catering to hungry locals seeking late-afternoon snacks and punchy Punjabi comfort food.

Blaze and Bourbon Menu & What to Order The counter-style kitchen focuses heavily on the chaat station, drawing regulars with its crowd-pleasing 'Unlimited Pani Puri', loaded with spiced potatoes and bracingly tart herb-infused water. For richer textures, the 'Dahi Puri' delivers sweet-sour balance with spiced yogurt and chutneys, while the 'Samosa Ragda Chat' smothers golden samosas in a warm, savoury white pea curry. While the menu branches into Indo-Chinese noodles and fusion burgers, the traditional street snacks remain the clearest reason to drop in.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly first-come, first-served, and the strip plaza offers plenty of surface parking for quick drop-ins. While official operating hours run daily from late afternoon through midnight, recent visitors note sporadic unscheduled closures, so phoning ahead is strongly advised before making the trip. Public transit is accessible via the Brimley TTC bus routes connecting south to Danforth Road and north toward Scarborough Centre.
