Paandian Vilas

What is Paandian Vilas? Set along Brimley Road in Bendale South, Paandian Vilas is an unpretentious Tamil and South Indian dining room grounded in assertive regional cooking. The room is casual, bright, and family-oriented, arranged with practical booth and table seating suited for generous group spreads rather than downtown theatricality. From the early-morning tiffin rush through late-night curries, it functions as a dependable neighbourhood fixture.

Paandian Vilas Menu & What to Order The kitchen trades in crisp griddled staples and unapologetically spiced coastal preparations. The paper-thin Ghee Roast Dosa arrives golden and shatteringly crisp, primed for dunking into fresh chutneys and sambar, while the Chicken Kothu Parotta delivers a satisfyingly chopped tangle of flatbread, eggs, and peppery gravy. Do not overlook the steamed puttu paired with rich, aromatic crab curry, or the comprehensive Fish Thali for a midday feast. Round it out with a stainless-steel tumbler of frothed, chicory-tinged Madras Coffee.

Know Before You Go While reservations are welcomed, walk-in tables are generally easy to come by on weekdays, though weekend lunch brings a steady neighbourhood crowd. Drivers can take advantage of free strip-plaza parking right out front, and the ground-floor dining room is fully wheelchair accessible. Keep in mind that doors remain shut on Tuesdays, but the kitchen operates an all-day schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every other day.
