Black Lab is the dog-first Eastern Avenue taproom: 818 Eastern Avenue. Official site is blunt — bottle shop, tap room, and front patio noon–9 p.m. seven days a week; beer garden Friday 3–9 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday noon–9 p.m. Pup Lite golden ale is the house easy-drinker; Sitting Pretty APA and ECHO DDH IPA sit next to it when they are in stock. No phone is printed on the homepage. First-timers: Pup Lite if you want the 4% Canadian lagered ale, ECHO if you came for hops. This is a sit-stay-drink room, not a dinner brewpub.
