What is Bar Libretto? Occupying 221 Ossington Avenue, this dimly lit outpost marks the late-night evolution of the flagship space that kicked off Toronto's Neapolitan pizza obsession back in 2008. Co-founders Rocco Agostino and Max Rimaldi transformed their original strip address into an energetic pizza-and-cocktail bar designed for late evening dining. Inside, moody low lighting, sleek leather banquettes, and a buzzing marble bar counter create an intimate backdrop often soundtracked by live DJs on weekends.

Bar Libretto Menu & What to Order The kitchen pares back the traditional pizzeria menu in favour of snackable share plates alongside blistered, wood-fired pies. Kick off the night with whipped whitefish crostini or beef steak tartare before sharing a spicy 'Nduja or Housemade Sausage pie topped with San Marzano sauce and local fior di latte. Heartier cravings are answered by the comforting baked rigatoni alla vodka, while vegans and gluten-free diners are well-supported with housemade vegan mozzarella and alternative crusts. The beverage program leads with the ice-cold Libretto-tini, the signature 63 Ossington cocktail, and a generous lineup of Italian amari.

Know Before You Go Reservations can be booked in advance online, though the lively bar top is primed for spontaneous walk-ins and late-night drop-ins. Target the sweet spots from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or post-9:00 p.m. for two daily happy hours, or visit on Wednesday for half-priced bottles of wine. The venue is closed Monday and Tuesday, operating from 4:00 p.m. until late Wednesday through Sunday.
