Arvo

What is Arvo? Set along the industrial brick-and-beam corridor of 80 Atlantic Avenue where Liberty Village meets South Parkdale, Arvo channels Australia's café-to-wine-bar rhythm with understated ease. The airy, plant-lined space balances clean Scandinavian minimalism with natural light, offering communal counters, individual desks for laptop work, and a spacious warm-weather patio. It moves effortlessly from a high-focus morning coffee sanctuary into a low-lit, relaxed venue for late-afternoon natural wine.

Arvo Menu & What to Order Breakfast is anchored by Australian staples, notably the Brekkie Roll layered with peameal bacon and the bright, herb-flecked Smoked Salmon Toast. For hungrier afternoons, the melt-in-your-mouth Braised Brisket Sando hits heavy on savory richness, making a great foil to the subtly sweet Honey Lavender Latte. Serious espresso purists must order the Aussie Magic—a Melbourne-standard double ristretto flat white poured with rotating Australian guest roasters—alongside a standout vegan walnut banana muffin.

Know Before You Go Seating is strictly walk-in with orders placed at the front counter, meaning prime indoor work tables and perimeter desks fill quickly during the mid-morning weekday rush. Atlantic Avenue parking is scarce, so taking the 504 King streetcar or walking up from Exhibition GO Station is your best bet. Hours run from 7:00 a.m. on weekdays and 8:00 a.m. on weekends, winding down in the early evening.
