The Spotlight leads to REIGN

To mark the excitement of the Toronto International Film Festival, REIGN Restaurant inside the Fairmont Royal York is rolling out a limited-run culinary showcase dubbed "The Spotlight Leads to REIGN." Designed to mirror the glamour and drama of the silver screen, the festival menu spotlights premium Canadian ingredients, French culinary techniques, and indulgent marquee dishes.

The TIFF Prix-Fixe & Featured Cuts The festival dining experience features an elaborate multi-course prix-fixe alongside specialty à la carte showstoppers. Standout offerings include "The Director’s Cut"—an opulent pairing of tender Australian Wagyu and butter-poached Nova Scotia lobster claw with potato pavé and rich sauce américaine. Other highlights include fresh oysters paired with Champagne granita and Maison Kaviari caviar, pan-seared seabass with smoked leeks and roasted corn, classic Beef Tenderloin Rossini crowned with seared foie gras and truffled brioche, and a decadent Valrhona chocolate cherry cake to close.

Dining in the Financial District Located on the main level of the Fairmont Royal York at 100 Front Street West, REIGN offers a grand, sophisticated dining room featuring rich wood paneling, plush velvet booths, and an extensive Canadian and international wine list. It provides an ideal setting for pre-theatre dining before heading to red carpet screenings at Roy Thomson Hall or the Princess of Wales Theatre.

Reservations & Getting There The TIFF feature menu runs during lunch and dinner service from September 10 through September 21, 2026.
