Choreographer and director Janet Roston joins forces with storytelling coach Ryan Bergmann to bring *So Now You Know: Personal Stories in Motion* to the Harbourfront Centre stage. Rather than presenting abstract choreography, the production mines the genuine lived experiences of diverse Toronto residents, turning personal histories of discovery, family, identity, and transformation into moving dance vignettes.

Stories Born in the Neighbourhoods The premise of *So Now You Know* is straightforward yet emotionally potent: community members work closely with Roston and Bergmann through intensive workshops to articulate pivotal memories from their lives. Those narratives are then paired with bespoke choreography tailored to each storyteller’s physical expression. The result is a dynamic collage that shifts effortlessly from humorous neighbourhood misadventures to heartfelt reflections on resilience and belonging.

Location & Practical Details Staged along the downtown waterfront at Harbourfront Centre (235 Queens Quay West), this performance makes for a thoughtful weekend outing. Public transit access is seamless: take the 509 Harbourfront or 510 Spadina streetcar directly from Union Station to Queens Quay West. Arrive early to stroll the lakeside boardwalk or grab coffee from nearby cafes along the harbour before taking your seats.
