Sinfonia Toronto’s November concert packs four centuries and three continents into one extraordinary evening at Trinity-St. Paul’s United Church. Maestro Nurhan Arman leads the orchestra through a sweeping classical journey highlighted by a major Toronto premiere.
The Program
The evening features the brilliant violinist Irmina Trynkos—praised by BBC Music Magazine as an 'intense and charismatic new star'—taking on the Toronto premiere of Claudia Montero's Latin Grammy-winning Violin Concerto. The expansive program also travels from Weinberg's lyrical Concertino and Mozart's elegant Divertimento to the Canadian premiere of Sharafyan's Theatrical Suite and Warlock's irresistible Capriol Suite.
Practical Info
Performances take place at Trinity-St. Paul's Centre for Faith (427 Bloor St W) in the Annex. Tickets range from $20 for students up to $45.20 for adults, making it an accessible night of world-class classical music in a historic downtown church.
