VenueGranite Brewery & Tied House
Midtown is getting a swamp-sized dose of theatrical mischief this September as the Granite Brewery plays host to Shrek-Lesque Drag Bingo Brunch. Organized by Question Everything and Sucka Queen, this Sunday afternoon gathering fuses fairy tale satire, cabaret peel-downs, competitive bingo, and classic pub fare into a lively 18+ brunch blowout.
An Ogre-Themed Burlesque and Drag Revue
Expect full-throttle camp as headliner Sucka Queen is joined by castmates Newfoundlad, Jessie James, and Zaira Cruz. The performers will be peeling back their layers in honour of Far Far Away's most famous residents, soundtracked by crowd singalongs and cheeky cabaret choreography. In between performances, guests can try their hand at multiple rounds of fast-paced drag bingo, competing for sponsor prizes throughout the afternoon. Remember to bring cash to tip the queens as they work the room.
Brunch and Brews at Granite Brewery
Situated at Eglinton and Mount Pleasant, Granite Brewery & Tied House has been a staple of Toronto’s independent craft brewing scene since 1991. The kitchen is serving up a dedicated brunch buffet featuring morning classics, fresh salads, and desserts, complemented by the brewery's cask ales and bottomless mimosas. Note that while your event ticket covers admission and entertainment, food and beverage requires a $25 minimum spend on site.
Getting There and Logistics
Granite Brewery offers free on-site parking for patrons, though spaces can fill up quickly. If you are travelling by TTC, the venue is a short bus ride east from Eglinton Station on Line 1. Seating is communal, so groups planning to sit together are encouraged to arrive early when doors open at 11:30 AM.
