Step into the creative world of five recent OCAD University graduates at *Moultling, Will You Live Forever?*, a compelling group exhibition hosted by Gagné Contemporary Projects. Running from August 21 to 30, 2026, this unique showcase brings together artists Isabella Ramirez, Sophie Sawicka, Ella Morreale, Riley Drummond, and Rahma Kareem in an intimate setting located in the laneway behind 136 Brooklyn Avenue in Leslieville.

The exhibition is built around the concept of thresholds—those paused moments in time when we become acutely aware that something is shifting. Rather than viewing time as a linear march forward, the featured works in painting, drawing, sculpture, textile, and collage explore how time loops, spirals, and circles back on itself. Expect to encounter deeply reflective pieces exploring nostalgia, personal evolution, and the emotional resonance of leaving old spaces behind.

### What to Expect

  • **Opening Night & Live Performance:** Kick off the run on Friday, August 21, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., featuring a special live acoustic performance from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., alongside complimentary snacks and refreshments.
  • **Diverse Mediums:** A tight, curated selection of two to three works per artist, offering a rich dialogue between textiles, sculpture, and traditional 2D works.
  • **Neighbourhood Vibe:** Situated in the heart of Leslieville's artistic laneway spaces, it's an ideal stop to pair with an evening stroll down Queen Street East for dinner or drinks at nearby neighbourhood staples.

Admission to the gallery and opening reception is entirely free. Gallery hours run Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
