Transport yourself straight to the hillside caves of Granada without leaving West Queen West. Presented by Fabcollab, La Cueva Flamenco brings the raw, wild, and deeply improvisational spirit of traditional Spanish tablaos to the cozy back room of the Monarch Tavern.
What to Expect
Stripped of microphones and amplifiers, this showcase highlights flamenco at its purest and most intense. Expect powerful footwork, intricate acoustic guitar work, and soulful vocalizations performed up close and personal. Doors open early at 7:00 PM to give guests a chance to grab a drink and secure a good viewing spot before the performance kicks off at 8:00 PM. Stick around afterward for the post-show flamenco party.
Getting There
The Monarch Tavern sits at 12 Clinton Street, nestled just off Queen West. It's one of Toronto's most beloved historic watering holes, making it the perfect atmospheric vessel for a night of fiery Iberian culture.
