Two of North America's most revered Japanese-inspired cocktail institutions are descending upon downtown Toronto for an exclusive, one-night-only guest shift behind the stick at the Fairmont Royal York's famed Library Bar.

World-Class Cocktail Pedigree

This collaborative pop-up unites Chicago's Michelin-recognized Kumiko and New York City's legendary Angel's Share. Led by celebrated beverage pioneer and author Julia Momose, Kumiko is internationally acclaimed for its precise Japanese bartending philosophy, refined dining-bar sensibility, and innovative spirit-free and spirit-forward menus. Sharing the bar is the team from Angel's Share, the groundbreaking West Village speakeasy credited with sparking the modern Japanese cocktail revolution across North America during the 1990s and 2000s.

Rare Spirits and Meticulous Craft

Guests can anticipate a bespoke cocktail menu showcasing meticulous technique, rare Japanese whiskies, gins, and shochus, alongside artful balance and hand-carved ice programs. It represents the final and most anticipated installment of Library Bar's acclaimed international guest shift series for the year.

Visiting Library Bar

Tucked away inside the historic Fairmont Royal York across from Union Station, Library Bar provides an intimate, velvet-draped sanctuary suited to cocktail connoisseurs. Service begins at 6:00 PM and runs late into the night. Seating is on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis, so arriving early is strongly recommended for this marquee spirits event.
